Our mission is to engage in a mix of advanced research and education on communication between the nervous system and the immune system.  We are pursuing both the mechanisms of this communication and its effects.  We are naturally interested in undesired effects that occur when this communication is abnormal.

This mix of research and education will lead to novel treatment strategies for many neurological dysfunctions that have resisted treatment to date.  In this way, we will improve the lives of thousands afflicted and we will advance the field of brain and neurological studies as a whole.
