Edward Tobinick, M.D. is founder/Director of the Institute of Neurological Recovery in Boca Raton, Florida which practices perispinal delivery of etanercept, a method he invented. Dr. Tobinick presented scientific findings regarding perispinal etanercept at conferences including the Karolinska Institute Drug Repositioning Summit; International Conference on Alzheimer’s Disease; Alzheimer’s Drug Discovery Conference; International Restauracion Neurologica; World Pharmaceutical Congress and Modern Drug Discovery Conference. He has authored 30+ peer-reviewed scientific papers. His inventions have received 25+ patents.
Dr. Tobinick graduated Phi Beta Kappa and Magna Cum Laude from Brandeis University and received his M.D. from U.C. San Diego School of Medicine, completing post-graduate training in Internal Medicine at UCLA. He is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He has been an expert reviewer for the journals Brain Research, Clinical Drug Investigation, CNS Drugs, Current Alzheimer Research, Drug Discovery Today, Experimental Neurology, Future Neurology, Journal of Neurochemistry, Journal of Neuroimmunology, Neuroscience, and Pharmaceutical Medicine and Editorial Board member of the Journal of Neuroinflammation.
